A few updates and some firsts:

CORA read her first page of a book this week (Up Pup, pup is up), and has been saying some hilarious things lately.  A few favorites:

Wow, look at Milkshake Helens! (Pointing at Mt. St. Helens)

(while playing dress up) I am a lion, and just a little bit wolf.

Mommy, let's talk about when I will go to pokeschool when I am three.

When I am a little bit older, I will be able to [cross the street by myself, drink a margarita, sew a pillow, etc...]

(Hugging her brother) Conrad, you are so sweet, I wish I could marry you.

(Jumping on the bed in the morning) I think I grewed in the night!!

At 9 months, CONRAD has been working on some basic communication skills. He started signing More when he wants more food, lifts his arms up to say So Big! when you ask how big he is, and is waving hi and bye. He is also very interested in the Dyson and the oven. Can't quite crawl yet, but is getting very close. Can rotate around on his tummy and moves backwards, which is frustrating to him. He is also adept at pinching all sorts of adult food items and putting them in his mouth. He managed to eat chocolate covered raisins off the floor at easter.
