Cora discovers VERBS!

Cora is 20 months, and just in the past few days her use of verbs has exploded. She has also figured out how to use the word "I" instead of talking about herself in the third person. Somehow, this makes her seem more like a little person than a toddler as she goes around our new house making declarations like "I want cake!" Early this morning she was looking out the window at sunrise and I heard her talking sweetly to herself: "I see park, I see dogs, I see cars, I see all the lights- one, two, three, four, five six!" I am constantly thinking "Since when can she...?!"

And baby number 2 is...

A Boy!! He brought Cora some blue balloons and a cake. :)
