8 months!

Cora turned 8 months old today. She is perfecting her downward facing dog yoga pose (watch out world!!) and is so proud of herself when she moves around.

First Christmas

We had a lot of fun at home in Portland for Cora's first Christmas. We had Christmas Eve dinner at Aunt Paula and Uncle Brian's house. Cora got to spend a lot of time with Grandma Mary and Grandpa Phil, and really had a lot of fun opening presents! Her toy collection about doubled, so Santa must have thought she was a very good girl.

Trip to LA

We visited LA so Daniel could meet with his agents and celebrate book news. Cora loved hanging out in the fluffy hotel bed, and did not seem to mind sleeping on the floor of the closet! :)

Cora's First Christmas Tree

The month of December brought Cora's first Xmas tree shopping, and she started to experience the joys of eating!

Thanksgiving in Chelan

We had a great Thanksgiving in Chelan. Cora got to spend some time with her cousins Emily and Jonathan, and her great aunt Susan and cousin Alexandrea. She liked potatoes and sweet potatoes, which she got to try for the first time.
