Family at Brian and Paula's Wedding
Uncle Brian and Aunt Paula's wedding was lovely, and Cora got to spend time with her cousin Addison, Aunt Erika and Uncle Kevin, and Grandma Mary and Grandpa Phil.
Snow in September
It was the first time it had snowed in September in Dickinson, ND since 1903 and Cora's first snow ever! Luckily her dad packed her adorable new snow suit...

General cuteness and kitties
Some days we are overwhelmed with the extreme level of cuddly cuteness in our house.
The Renaissance Faire
Another first: Cora's first trip to Shrewsbury Faire, our local ren faire, where her daddy enjoys quaffing mead from his drinking horn and yelling at the jousters. Luckily we managed to convince Ryan, Carrie, Brett, and Mikey to accompany us on our journey to the faire land of medieval times. There were victuals, well played insults, and a goat-pulled cart ride for the wee one (and me).
Berry picking on Sauvie Island
Cora has had so many "firsts" this summer that we have hardly had time to post anything. Our friends Colby and Kelly came down from Seattle for our now annual berry picking weekend. This year we drank prosecco with fresh berries while we picked in gorgeous sunshine and then Colby got all ambitious with the pressure cooker and we canned blueberry, blackberry, and peach jam. YUM.
